1st Challenge

This is the 1st time I have entered a challenge. My friend Orange Esmeralda is hosting the "Art Journal Journey" and the theme is Sea.
This is my interpretation. " A garden under the sea"
I painted a selection of papers with dye and inks, glued them onto a background, in a random manner, overlapping them. Painted wooden coffee stirrers. Wrapped them as I stitched them to the background.
Bottom part I hand stitched some simple flower shapes. "A garden under the Sea"

This is not my usual way of working but I had fun.

 Hope you like my "garden"

Wonderfully painted papers with dyes and inks, cleverly wrapped coffee stirrers, the sweet little fishes and their delightful embroidered garden - what could be better?
